'To Be Free: Art and Liberty' explores human rights and freedoms, questioning what it means to be free.

The exhibition celebrates the arrival of the Gemma De Angelis Testa donation to the gallery. The 105 works are produced by a range of major international contemporary artists, intended to complement the standing collection of post-1950 art.

'The World Reimagined' is a ground-breaking, national art education project to transform how the Transatlantic Slave Trade is understood and its lasting impact on all of us. A globe created by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA is on view alongside 95 others at Trafalgar Square on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Eighteen of the globes including Shonibare's will be auctioned by Bonhams in support of the charitable project.

‘A Gateway To Possible Worlds’ brings together over 200 works from the late 1960s to the present day. The exhibition explores the world of science fiction as an expression of the present and a complex tool for understanding the future, which it helps to construct and predict. 

ICA and Sotheby’s join forces to raise funds to benefit the pioneering contemporary art institution in its 75th year. Yinka Shonibare CBE RA has created an entirely new piece for the sale, titled 'Modern Magic (Bangwa Queen)', 2022.

Nationalmuseum present a seminar on Yinka Shonibare CBE RA and his art, global trade, art collections and museum history. The World Reimagined globe trails, are series of 103 unique public artworks that explore the history and legacy of the Transatlantic Trade as part of a UK-wide art and education initiative. The nationwide project aims to transform how we understand the Transatlantic Slave Trade and its impact. 

Yinka Shonibare CBE RA will be celebrated at Anderson Ranch Arts Center at a series of events during their annual Recognition Week including a gala dinner and live benefit auction on 14 July. The proceeds of the auction will support the non profit arts centre to provide workshops and extended residencies for the local community and international artists.

‘Wind Sculpture in Bronze I’ by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA is the third permanent sculpture presented to Royal Djurgården by Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland's cultural foundation. The two metre sculpture, rendered in steel and fibreglass, captures the shifting movement of wind passing through Shonibare's signature Dutch wax batik fabric on a dramatic scale.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, presents landmark solo exhibition 'Yinka Shonibare CBE RA: Planets in My Head'. The expansive showcase features a selection from the past three decades of Shonibare’s body of work, including sculptures, paintings, photographs, print and film.

'Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear' is the first major V&A exhibition to celebrate the power, artistry and diversity of masculine attire and appearance. Contemporary looks by legendary designers and rising stars will be displayed alongside historical treasures from the V&A's collections and landmark loans: classical sculptures, Renaissance paintings, iconic photographs, and powerful film and performance.

Featuring around one hundred original prints, 'The Future is Blinking' considers the key themes in the history of photography in West and Central Africa with a focus on its peculiarities and its connections with other local art forms.

The first global survey exhibition dedicated to the use of clothing as a medium of visual art, ‘Garmenting: Costume as Contemporary Art’ examines work by thirty-five international contemporary artists, from established names to emerging voices. The presentation includes ‘The Ghost of Eliza Jumel’, 2015 by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA.
