Spelman College Museum of Fine Art hosts Deborah Roberts in conversation with writer and curator Antwaun Sargent, who contributed to Roberts' solo exhibition, 'The Evolution of Mimi' at Spelman College Museum of Fine Art in 2018. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions during the event. 

Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg debuts its renovated collection galleries to the public on Tuesday 27 October. Included in this new presentation of the Museum's permanent collection is Kehinde Wiley's 'Leviathan Zodiac (The World Stage: Israel)', 2011 from the artist's celebrated series, 'The World Stage: Israel' which the Museum acquired in 2019. 

'00s. Cranford Collection: the 2000s' is a group exhibition at MO.CO, Montpellier that brings together over one hundred works from the Cranford Collection. Spanning a wide range of media, themes and geography, the exhibition reveals how global culture, geopolitics, economy and ecology transformed during the 2000s. 

German artist Stephan Balkenhol presents an exhibition at Palais D'Iéna, Paris, France in dialogue with the architecture of the hypostyle hall designed by Auguste Perret.

The Royal Drawing School’s Online Lecture Series 'Creative Conversations' hosted Denzil Forrester in conversation with artist and writer Liza Dimbleby on Wednesday 14 October. Forrester taught Dimbleby through the 1990s and the discussion explored how different times and places have shaped the Grenada-born artist's practice.

'Towner International' is a new biennial exhibition of contemporary art that takes place for the first time at Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne from 6 October 2020 to 11 April 2021. The Brewers Award of £10,000, sponsored by Brewers Decorator Centres, will be awarded to one of the exhibiting artists along with mentoring from the Towner team.

For the first time in its history, the Royal Academy of Arts' Summer Exhibition falls in winter this year. Coordinated by artistic duo Jane and Louise Wilson RA, the exhibition features myriad household names including Tracey Emin, Denzil Forrester, Rebecca Horn, Anselm Kiefer, Julian Schnabel, Yinka Shonibare CBE, Gillian Wearing and Ai Weiwei as well as many emerging artists.

This temporary institute brings together eight UK-based artists including Alvaro Barrington, Mandy El-Sayegh, Cécile B. Evans, Denzil Forrester, Anthea Hamilton, Haroon Mirza and Zadie Xa & Benito Mayor Vallejo for a series of installations and events. 

Yinka Shonibare CBE has been awarded the Robson Orr TenTen Award 2020 by the Government Art Collection (GAC). The new work was unveiled at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office on Tuesday 6 October 2020 by Caroline Dinenage MP, Minister of State (Minister for Digital and Culture) and Penny Johnson CBE, Director of the GAC.

'Portrait of a Young Planet' is a new presentation of Mudam's permanent Collection that explores the relationship between the individual and the community through a diverse array of social and political themes. Included in the exhibition is Thomas Hirschhorn’s 'Flugplatz Welt/World Airport', which was created in 1999 for the Venice Biennale and now forms part of the Mudam Collection. 

Queer Creative podcast hosted Ugandan artist Leilah Babirye on Wednesday 16 September 2020. Babirye discusses the materials and themes that define her practice, her long journey from Uganda to the USA and her ongoing engagement with political activism.
