'Rethinking Monuments: American Sculpture in its Time, 1850 – 2000' explores the development of the artists' relationship to the monument, its communication of narrative, and in turn the viewer's perception of these.

Curated by Christian Rizzo, in dialogue with Emmanuel Latreille, works by nine artists from the Frac's collection are exhibited at the La chambre d'écho. Informed by Rizzo's choregraphic work, the sculptures, paintings, photographs , drawings and videos explore movements and the presence or absence of physical bodies.

Hospital Rooms has partnered with Devon Partnership NHS Trust to create artworks for three inpatient mental health wards at Torbay Hospital. Hospital Rooms is an arts and mental health charity that commissions extraordinary artworks for NHS mental health inpatient units across the UK, believing in the power of art to provide joy and dignity and to stimulate and heal.

'The World Reimagined' is a ground-breaking, national art education project to transform how the Transatlantic Slave Trade is understood and its lasting impact on all of us. A globe created by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA is on view alongside 95 others at Trafalgar Square on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Eighteen of the globes including Shonibare's will be auctioned by Bonhams in support of the charitable project.

Deborah Roberts joins fellow artist vanessa german on the occassion of german receiving a 2022 Heinz Awards for the Arts. The two will discuss their creative practice and german will share live spoken-word poetry in response to specific artworks.

'Being In the World' marks the tenth anniversary of Long Museum. Curated by Iwona Blazwick, the group show is conceived as an artistic celebration of returning to 'the world' in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.⁠

LACMA has a long history of presenting abstract art, dating to the 1964 exhibition 'Post-Painterly Abstraction' at the Los Angeles County Museum in Exposition Park. 'Juan Francisco Elso: Por América' investigates the brief yet significant career of the late Cuban artist Juan Francisco Elso. Based in Havana, Elso was part of the first generation of artists born and educated in post-revolutionary Cuba, who gained international recognition in the early 1980’s. The exhibition explores crosscurrents between Elso’s art and the creative output of both close colleagues and artists who demonstrate parallel affinities, featuring 45 works by more than 30 artists.

'Strange Clay: Ceramics in Contemporary Art' is the first large-scale group exhibition in the UK exploring how contemporary artists have used clay in unexpected ways. Featuring 23 international artists working across recent decades, the exhibition examines the plasticity and the possibilities of ceramics.

Group exhibition 'Dark Light: Realism in the Age of Post-Truths', curated by Massimiliano Gioni, assembles the work of over one hundred artists and more than two hundred pieces from the Tony and Elham Salamé Collection. Taking its title from a 2017 painting by the American artist Nicole Eisenman held in the collection, the presentation brings together recent acquisitions that question the meanings and functions of figuration in contemporary art.

TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art is an annual contemporary art auction benefitting both the Dallas Museum of Art and amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. Included in this year's edition is Hulda Guzmán's 'THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN', 2022.
