Rivane Neuenschwander features in '50 Years'
This group exhibition marks 50 years since the coup in Uruguay. It presents works that explore the past, present and future of democracy, seeking to bring new voices to the discussion. Forward-looking, inclusive and diverse, the exhibition encompasses a multiplicity of points of view and stories that promote the exchange of ideas. The exhibition brings together works of art from the 1970s and 1980s with specially commissioned contemporary works; works that poetically speak of democracy and its weaknesses in times of dictatorship, as well as the world of today.
