'Imago Iustitiae', latin for 'the image of justice', brings together historic and contemporary works exploring the rendering of justice in art. The exhibition illustrates justice both as an act, and as a moral virtue.

'Cardiac Arrest', by Kendell Geers is one of the works featured. Glass truncheons are arranged in a heart shape, doubling up to form crosses through the centre; casting the truncheon as both fragile and powerful; violent and protective.

Describing himself as an ‘AniMystikAKtivist', South African artist Kendell Geers weaves together diverse Afro-European traditions including animism, alchemy, mysticism and a complex socio-political activism laced with humour and irony.
