Izumi Kato is exhibited at Uraraka Painting Festival
Nezu, Tokyo, Japan
Uraraka Painting Festival exhibits artworks by a range of artists in nine venues around the Yanesen area of Tokyo. Works hang in galleries, temples and cafes around the city, and explore ideas around painting in a myriad of forms, through the work of contemporary Japanese artists. Izumi Kato is part of a two person presentation with Masato Koboyashi, exhibiting his characteristic dream-like figures and faces painted and collaged onto canvas and wood.
