Yinka Shonibare CBE RA and Kehinde Wiley feature in Flowers Forever
'Flowers Forever: Flowers in Art and Culture' tours the cultural and visual history of flowers from antiquity to the present day. The group exhibition comprises works from the fields of fine art, design, fashion and natural science drawn from collections around the world, as well as site specific installations. The show traces flowers through mythology, religion, art and politics, presenting examples of historical floral art and design alongside contemporary artworks.
The exhibition features works by Jan Brueghel the Younger, Hannah Höch, Abraham Mignon, Yinka Shonibare CBE RA and Kehinde Wiley among others.
