Presented in celebration of Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary’s twentieth anniversary, ‘Abundant Futures’ explores the motivations behind the foundation’s two decades of investigation, collaboration, and experimentation. Reimagining an abundant ecological future, this thought-provoking exhibition charts explores sustainable and regenerative ways of co-existing with nature.
The vast selection of works from TBA21’s collection represents different generations of artists across multiple geographies. Centering the wealth of artistic visions and narratives encapsulated in the collection, the overall program is complemented by lectures, performances, installations and public interventions by artists, practitioners, thinkers, and audiences from around the world.
