Holly Hendry in conversation with Daniel S. Palmer
Holly Hendry joins Daniel S. Palmer (Curator at Public Art Fund, New York) to discuss her current solo exhibition, ’Holly Hendry: Fatty Acids’ at Stephen Friedman Gallery.
Holly Hendry was born in 1990 in London, where she continues to live and work. A solo exhibition of new sculptures and a large-scale outdoor commission by the artist were unveiled at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea in May 2021. Her work was included in group shows at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield and Somerset House, London in 2021. Hendry’s work can be found in the UK’s Arts Council Collection, Government Art Collection, British Council Collection and FRAC Grand Large, Dunkirk, France.
Daniel S. Palmer is currently Curator at Public Art Fund, New York where he has organised more than a dozen exhibitions since 2016. Previously, he held the position of the Leon Levy Assistant Curator at the Jewish Museum. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil in Art History from the CUNY Graduate Center, and a BA from Rutgers University.
