Hulda Guzmán features in 'Winter Dreams'

‘Winter Dreams’ is a presentation of five collection paintings by Hulda Guzmán, Chris Johanson, and Firenze Lai. Displayed 24-hours in a street-facing vitrine, ‘The Nightmare’, from the series 'Be Kind To Your Demons', 2018 by Hulda Guzmán presents a number of scenes in which female characters carry out mundane activities in the company of devil-like creatures. Guzmán’s paintings are a reminder of the brevity, potential intensity, and frailty of human existence. ‘Be Kind to Your Demons’ is an invitation to surrender to bodily and external pleasures whilst engaging in a conscious dialogue with your own existence.
