‘Swiss Sculpture since 1945’ is a comprehensive exhibition that offers an overview of an exciting chapter in Swiss art history. Including 230 works by 150 artists from all linguistic regions of the country, including Hans Arp, Max Bill, Sylvie Fleury, Thomas Hirschhorn, Meret Oppenheim, Germaine Richier, Roman Signer and Ugo Rondinone. The presentation reflects the diversity of sculptural work produced in Switzerland over the past 76 years and explores how the themes, materials and techniques have changed over the decades, even redefining what sculpture means.
