Melvin Edwards is included in The Brodsky Center's Spring Print Sale
Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is home to the Brodsky Center, a collaborative paper and printmaking program committed to supporting a diverse range of students to create new work. The ‘Spring Print Sale: 2021’ features artists whose work crosses the boundaries of gender, race, politics, and class. Proceeds will fund educational internship and professional opportunities for emerging artists.
On Wednesday 31 March and Thursday 1 April, collectors will have the oppourtunity to purchase limited editions by contemporary artists including Frank Bowling, Elizabeth Catlett, Melvin Edwards, Barkley L. Hendricks, William Kentridge, Joan Semmel, Kiki Smith, Pat Steir, Richard Tuttle and more. Melvin Edwards' colour lithograph ‘Curtain for Friends’, 2015, a signed edition of 10 is included in this two-day sale. This work is part of a limited edition set and is priced at $7,500.
