David Shrigley contributes to Art Fund campaign #togetherformuseums
Art Fund are calling on the public to join #togetherformuseums to help empower Britain's institutions to adapt and innovate in this time of crisis.
Over the last six months, Art Fund’s emergency funding has enabled organisations such as the Roald Dahl Museum to take their amazing collection to students who are unable to visit; Aerospace Bristol to create a digital storytelling experience; Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art to commission emerging artists; the Postal Museum to make their interactive exhibits safe; and much more exciting activity.
Every donation through the crowdfunding platform Art Happens, brings the campaign closer to its goal of £1 million. Thanks to a generous supporter, donations to the Together for Museums campaign from from 21 January will be matched pound for pound, doubling their impact. All those who make a donation to the campaign can choose an exclusive reward inspired by the project. British artist David Shrigley has contributed a set of two 100% cotton tea towels designed especially for the campaign.
