Win Limited Edition artwork by David Shrigley
To celebrate the launch of our new online shop, Stephen Friedman Gallery is giving you the opportunity to win this vibrant limited-edition artwork by David Shrigley, in a competition judged by the artist himself.
Shrigley is known for his canny reflections on the anxieties and absurdities of everyday life. For a chance to win, share an Instagram post or story showing your favourite Shrigley drawing (be it a tea towel, painting, coaster, poster or newspaper clipping) in the context of your daily life. The winning entry will emulate the artist’s deadpan and quick-witted practice.
Make sure to tag #myshrigley and @stephenfriedmangallery and make sure the post is visible to @stephenfriedmangallery for your entry to be counted and stay tuned for reposts. Entries close on Wednesday 12 August at 6pm GMT. The winner will be announced via our Instagram feed on Monday 31 August and contacted via Instagram to discuss complementary delivery of the artwork.

In 2018, the British artist collaborated with Human rights organisation Liberty to launch a campaign to call on the government to 'Keep Britain Kind'. 'Untitled (Kindness)' is one of several works that Shrigley designed for the cause and the first screenprint that the artist launched with the gallery.
There is no restriction on the number of entries and the competition is open to everyone (excepting the artist himself), from our own staff and international clients to our wider social media network. If the selected winner does not respond within 14 days of having been notified, another winner will be selected. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of the artwork from the date that delivery details are confirmed.
