Kendell Geers in conversation with Candice Mama Coffee with Candice
On Thursday 16 July at 3pm GMT, a new episode of 'Coffee with Candice' saw author and host Candice Mama (@candice_mama) in conversation with South African artist Kendell Geers.

Candice describes creating the series as a space for "candid conversations with some brilliant minds from visionaries to musicians, change makers to thought leaders, most wanted fugitives to remarkable writers." In this episode, Candice and Geers discussed "what it takes to live boldly and create fearlessly". Candice explains, "I am so honoured to have the opportunity to talk to Kendell not only about his phenomenal achievements in the art space, but his bold choice to stand against apartheid and reclaim his identity by changing his name. In a time when many are confused or conflicted about how to be an ally, I watch Kendell do it with ease."
