Mamma Andersson is included in 7th Biennial of Painting, 'Binnenskamers' (Inner Spaces)
The 7th Biennial of Painting is presented by three art museums on the banks of the Leie —Museum of Deinze and the Leie Region (Mudel), Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens – in collaboration with Sint-Martens-Latem, and Roger Raveel Museum.
Titled 'Binnenskamers' (Inner Spaces), this year's edition brings together a wide selection of modern and contemporary paintings by both Belgian and international artists. The works included display the diversity of the medium and encompass a thematically wide range of 'inner spaces', from the studio and domestic interiors to the inner realm of the imagination.
Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens (Deurle), Sint-Martens-Latem exhibits works by artists including Mamma Andersson, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Gust De Smet, James Ensor, Melissa Gordon, Chris Huen Sin Kan, Suchan Kinoshita & Olivier Foulon, Marie-Fleur Lefebvre, Lucy McKenzie, Walid Raad, Maaike Schoorel, Louis Thevenet, Luc Tuymans and Rik Wouters.
