Kunsthaus, Zürich

The touring group exhibition 'Fly Me To The Moon: The Lunar Landing: 50 Years Later' is on display from 5 April at Kunsthaus, Zürich.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the first Moon landing, 'Fly me to the Moon' is a journey through the history of artists' engagement with the Moon from the Romantic era to the present day. Covering a wide variety of themes, the exhibition explores lunar topography, moonlight and the Moon's shadow, ailments associated with the Moon, zero gravity and the Moon as mass media phenomenon.

The exhibition is curated by Cathérine Hug and is a collaboration with the German Aerospace Center.
