'Duro Olowu: Seeing Chicago' is a group exhibition at Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago that brings together works from the city's public and private art collections. Stepping away from traditional formats, the exhibition reimagines the relationships between artists and objects across time, geography, and media.
Nigerian-born British designer Duro Olowu is internationally recognised for his womanswear label, launched in 2004. Characterised by their evocative patterns and distinctive construction, the London-based designer's garments are informed by his international background and curator's eye. Olowu's multinational and multicultural viewpoint has translated into widely popular platforms and projects including his dynamic Instagram account and revelatory curatorial projects in London and New York.
