EVERYTHING IS TRUE - NOTHING IS PERMITTED Curated by Kendell Geers

Brutus Garden, Rotterdam, Netherlands

EVERYTHING IS TRUE - NOTHING IS PERMITTED curated by Kendell Geers is a celebration of art's power to subvert our expectations, to inspire, heal, disrupt and challenge perception.

The group exhibition explores the consequences of violence, extremism, racism, fashion, power, inequality and capitalism. The artists demonstrate what art can be: a powerful voice that deconstructs the madness of a world in which language has been disconnected from meaning and art detached from its own history.

Participating artists include Kendell Geers, Marina Abramović, Lynda Benglis, Marcel Broodthaers, Dinos and Jake Chapman, Salvador Dalí, Gilbert and George, Gustav Metzger, Cildo Meireles, Arthur Jafa, René Magritte, David Wojnarowicz, Kara Walker, Andres Serrano, Santiago Sierra.

EVERYTHING IS TRUE - NOTHING IS PERMITTED is in collaboration with A/POLITICAL.
