Leilah Babirye features in the 2024 Benefit Auction

Leilah Babirye’s painting on paper, Kuchu Series (Queer Ugandans), has been selected by curator Marty Eisenberg to feature in The Drawing Center’s 2024 Benefit Auction.
This year's benefit auction brings together 33 artists, curators, and art lovers from The Drawing Center's community to examine why we are drawn to some artworks over others. Each guest curator will present a selection of five or more works on paper by artists they admire.
The works will be available for purchase through a silent auction benefiting The Drawing Center and participating artists.
The auction will conclude with a party at The Drawing Center on 30 September, 6-9pm.
