Kokoro Dance presents 'LSD' in collaboration with Jonathan Baldock. 

"'LSD' is an acronym for Love Sex and Death (as well as lysergic acid diethylamide). It is not macabre, but maybe a little psychadelic. It is not a linear narrative. It is the culmination of our forty five year journey in dance with each other, a journey shared with many outstanding artists." – Jay Hirabayashi and Barbara Bourget

Hirabayashi and Bourget are joined in 'LSD' by their collaborator of over 30 years Salomé Nieto, and Ballet Edmonton alumna Allison Lang. The piece’s soundtrack honours Kokoro Dance’s late musical director Robert J. Rosen. Lighting design is by Gerald King. Costumes and set design are by Jonathan Baldock. Folkloric and earthy, Baldock's designs echo the flora motifs and mysticism of his textile works.
